By many measures our April 20th event – You Can Change the Course of a Life – was a success.
With more than 300 attending – the sense of community was real.
Kim Mitchell’s talk and recognition of Viet Nam veterans was thoughtful, touching and inspiring.
We received more than $1,800 in donations at the event, meeting requirements for $1,000 in matching funds.
A generous sponsorship the National Bank of Commerce, fish fry dinner tickets sales, and previous donations bring our total fund-raising to nearly $5,000 to date.
